MAFTECTM insulation products are a product lineup made by processing our core product, MAFTECTM Blanket.
Insulation blocks are produced by cutting and laminating MAFTECTM Blanket under compression, and show excellent energy-saving performance through their thermal insulation properties and low heat capacity due to the nature of inorganic fiber insulation products. In addition, MAFTECTM contains extremely little shot (non-fibrous particles) and exhibits high tensile strength under high temperatures. In furnace insulation, the formation of insulator gaps during use is a significant issue because it greatly reduces heat retention and durability. However, blocks made with our materials maintain high-temperature cushioning properties resulting from our proprietary fiber manufacturing method, and a major advantage is that they do not develop gaps (do not fall off) during use.

In addition, new products include skid post blocks and burner tiles, which use MAFTECTM Blanket as the base material and are molded with an inorganic binder.
Both products feature the resistance to cracking and lightweight, low heat capacity characteristics derived from the Blanket, and they are currently used in steel heating furnaces and other applications, with further expansion of use expected in the future.
